Painted with the oil brush in Procreate again. I’ve noticed the last couple times I didn’t want to draw the prompt, I reached for the oil brush. Not using lines is difficult, but I’m enjoying the challenge.
Had fun with the oil brush in procreate again.
This was way out of my comfort zone. I rarely draw landscapes and I usually draw not paint. But I wanted to try out some of the painting brushes in Procreate. For this I used the oil brush. The clouds were a little frustrating, but overall it was fun.
I’m a huge fan of Kasiq Jungwoo’s work. He creates absolutely stunning watercolor portraits and figure studies. This was inspired by his work and although it’s not as loose as I’d like it to be, I’m happy with how it turned out.
I’m a day behind because I’ve been fishing like a nut. Here’s the door to our cabin.
It came out a little wonky, but I actually like the overall style.
Golden Gate at sunset painted on a watercolor postcard.
Friends of sent me a couple packs of these watercolor postcards made by Strathmore. So far I really like them. I really love the idea of sending someone my art in the mail too. I think I might do a fun giveaway with these after the holidays.
I think more people should like coffee. I know, I know, millions of people already do, but I need one more person to like coffee. Specifically, I need my husband to like coffee, because he hates it and it makes me sad. He can’t even stand the smell of it, which really sucks for him because I make a delicious, aromatic pot every morning. It would be nice if he liked coffee because then we could have one more thing in common and be all TEAM COFFEE and drink interesting coffees and buy fun coffee things. And most importantly, I could upgrade from my tiny 4 cup machine, to a proper 12 cupper. But alas, he likes tea.
Here’s a glorious cup, painted using – you guessed it – coffee!
